Saturday 9th December: 4pm
Carols on the glade
Our outdoor carol service is moving closer into town this year, having started because of COVID lockdowns, we have continued the tradition of singing outdoors, but this year we’re going to be in the glade on front st. (between Herons and the Co-op).
Join us at the glade at 4pm on Saturday 9th December for carols, a Christmas reading and a short reflection.
This is a family- and dog-friendly event. Make sure to wrap up warm!
There’s no need to register in advance and carol sheets will be provided.
Sunday 17th December 6pm
Carols by Candlelight
Join us in church for a traditional service of bible readings and carols, under the light of our candelabra.
If you’re coming along you have the chance to nominate your favourite carols (with no guarantees) using this form.
Christmas Eve: 3pm & 5pm
Christingle Services
Our regular Christingle services are on again this year!
The whole family is invited to join us at either 3pm or 5pm on Christmas Eve.
You can expect lively Christmas songs and traditional carols, child-friendly prayers and a plain-language re-telling of the Christmas story. And of course, your own Christingle orange to decorate – and (eventually) eat!
There’s no need to register in advance to attend this service but we would ask that you arrive early – it will take a bit of time to seat everyone safely.
Christmas Eve: 9pm
Late Night Communion Service
Perhaps the noise and excitement of our Christingle Service is just not your thing!
At 9pm on Christmas Eve you’re invited to join us for a quiet, reflective service with Christmas readings, prayers, carols and a short seasonal talk.
Christmas Day: 10am
Morning Worship
On Christmas Day there will also be a service of Morning Worship. This will be a short, informal service with a mixture of lively songs and traditional carols with some special fun elements for children.
Bring a present to show everyone, if you’re lucky enough to have opened one already!
Online services
We now livestream almost all of our church services via our Facebook Page, if you can’t come along in person, why not click on to watch from home!
