Sunday 18th September at 6pm – Service of Commemoration in church
(Sunday at 7.30pm – Lighting the beacon at Eastwoods Park)
Monday 11am – Livestream of The Funeral in church, doors open from 10:30am.

More details:
Churches all around the land will be holding special commeration services at 6pm the night before the funeral, this has been the plan for some time and was her majesty’s wish, we will sing her favourtie hymns and have space to reflect and remember her in advance of the funeral.

The Miners Lamp Cafe and Community Hub commissioned and lit the Elizabeth Beacon in June for the Platinum Jubilee, we’re delighted to support the lighting of the beacon (7.45pm) and minute’s silence (8pm) on Sunday night at Eastwoods Park.

The BBC have kindly waived the performance rights for the funeral specifically to allow community groups to come together and watch, so we’re delighted that we’ll be able to show the service in church. As it is a service it will be lovely to watch together, sing together, pray together and remember and honour her together. Do come and do invite others to come along with you. We can’t offer tea/coffee but encourage you to bring a travel mug with you!
