You are welcome to join us any Sunday at 10.00am for our Family Service, which includes Communion. Children are always welcome at this service. We have a fantastic Young Church programme, which runs every Sunday (including a scaled-down form in the holidays).
What to expect
Our 10am service has a friendly and accessible feel. You will be welcomed at the door with a smile and it doesn’t matter if you’re late!
There will be readings from the Bible, prayers (some that we say together and some led from the front) and a stimulating talk to show us something wonderful about God from today’s readings and how that can make a difference in our lives this week.
You can expect a range of old hymns and modern songs – everything from traditional favourites to upbeat numbers, chosen with the children in mind.
After the 10.00am service everyone is invited to head over to the Church Hall. Over tea & coffee (and sometimes even cake!) there’s a chance to refresh our bodies and our friendships as we catch up on the week with our church family. Please do join us for this second part of our Sunday morning service!
8.00 am service
On the first, third and fifth Sundays of the month there is an additional service of Holy Communion at 8.00am. This service uses traditional language (BCP) and there is no music.
On special occasions (such as Christmas & Easter) we might have an ‘All-Age Service‘ at 10.00am, where the children do not go out to Young Church and we have a shorter, more interactive experience for everyone in church. This service might include a quiz, game or drama sketch and we try – where possible – to involve our young people in running the service.
